"Our room was relatively clean, but the bed was uncomfortable for sleeping. Problems we encountered: 1. There were exposed wires on the non-functioning smoke detector. 2. There was an obvious electrical short circuit in the reading lights above the beds, and the light switch was broken/missing on one of these. 3. The security chain on the door was missing. We notified the front desk staff about these issues and she said she would notify "the manager". I doubt she did since her...

"Room was clean, good beds. Location is great with a lot of shops nearby. Could be better if there are microwave oven and coffee maker in room or on property. "

"We have just spent two nights at the lovely Harbor Inn on Ocracoke Island. We stayed in a Standard room (1st Floor Harborfront King with a private deck). The room was great. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was also a little kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and coffee making facilities.
