"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"

"We had 2 nights at oakhurst and really relaxed. The staff were so helpful and could not have done more to ensure we had a good stay. We enjoyed running in the woods, swimming in the dam and chilling in the hot tub."

"The initial arrival when we parked in the public parking raised some concerns, however the lovely hotel security lady quickly intervened and directed us to the proper hotel parking, from that point it was fantastic! The room was spotless, big and well appointed. But THE VIEWS!… WOW!!! The hotel certainly lives up to the name! The staff were all brilliant from the moment we arrived to the point we had to sadly check out. We will be back again!!"

"Die Zimmer in 1. Stock sind über eine steile Außen-Holztreppe zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind direkt vom Gang einsehbar, da man außen an den großen Fenstern vorbei geht. Es gibt Vorhänge, aber wer will schon immer im dunkeln sein? Wir sollten zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr anreisen. Die Managerin teilte uns mit das sie nicht da ist, aber vielleicht ihre Reinigungsdamen oder sie hinterlegt den Schlüssel in einer Box oder... Es wirkte sehr unorganisiert und die Kommunikation fand über diverse WA statt. Nun...

"Beautifull farm with fantastic views, mountains and sea, sunsets and sunrises. Interesting guests and nice vibe. Lovely outdoor deck where guests can relax and enjoy the views. Room comfortable and nice hot shower, clean. Blinds cannot be openen properly, broken ties. Communal kitchen and lounge area available for guests. Unfortunately, untidy, not clean, utensils, crockery and appliances tacky, some broken and not clean. Poor housekeeping and maintenance of all areas. Outdoor areas not well...

"The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. The host is coincidentally the guide for the river trips, so has exceptional knowledge on the nature of the area. If all this attracts you if you are considering being based in...

"The Sky Penthouse was very large and roomy with a great view. The staff was attentive and the breakfast was excellent. Everything about the hotel was five star. The only two things we were disappointed in was the property was on top of a cliff which led to a gorgeous view but getting to the beach was a little inconvenient. It is not a great beach for sunbathing/picnicing. Also, we had planned to walk to the trails at the national park but this is not easy to do. Overall, excellent stay"

"The place has a great view of the ocean, but the rooms are disappointing for the price you pay as there are none of the regular items you'd expect, such as a microwave or ice trays. There is a notice in the room that all kitchen items have been removed due to fire hazards, but all the other places we went to simply upgraded to improve their safety and still provide guest with the needed items.
