"The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. "Everything was perfect and as described (if not better!). Lakefront apartment with the most stunning views. I wished we had more time to spend just sitting overlooking the water as it was so serene and peaceful. Easy check in, functional kitchen, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wouldn’t definitely return!"

"Room was clean and it was helpful to have a small fridge and microwave. Only negative was the beds were very uncomfortable (rock hard). But for the price I’d still say it’s was reasonable."

"Quirky motel, but idea for that sale person on the road. For the price it's what you would expect. Only small downside no kitchen sink and no fresh water in the fridge for a cuppa, I would prefer to be charged an extra couple of bucks and have bottled water in the fridge. Would stay there again."
