"The hotel is an older facility and it shows in the condition of the woodwork in the halls and in the chipped paint on the room doors. Our room was dark with not enough outlets and no ceiling lights other than in the bathroom. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, there were ample pillows on the bed. "What a gem! We highly recommend this charming and beautiful inn with views of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the bar and restaurant. Great cocktails and live music. We stayed in the carriage house and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. The room had all the conveniences of home. We were close enough for a day trip to the White Mountains but just far enough from North Conway that we were removed from the busy pace of the city. We will definitely come back again! "
