"I gave this property “ok” ratings because of the price and location between Ft Lauderdale Airport and the Miami cruise terminals. The hotel is in disrepair and old, but I guess as clean as it can be for the age. It could definitely use some TLC! The neighborhood is a bit seedy so I wouldn’t stay here with children. There aren’t really any restaurants nearby so you have to uber everywhere. It’s ok for a VERY short, cheap stay for adults who are self defense capable and vigilant. Otherwise, I...

"The room was clean, and the woman who checked me in was very kind and sweet. Unfortunately, checkout was a different experience. I was charged $30 for a late checkout until 1 p.m. and left around noon, but there was no flexibility even though the property seemed empty. The checkout staff was not very friendly, which left a disappointing final impression."
