"The Bell is very central to the town making it ideal. As the property is OLD, the stairs in main building are not suitable for elderly people as too steep. Most of the floors in the whole building were sloped and uneven, Room 7, every floor was very sloped, the room was tiny but serviceable enough, No drinking water was provided in the room,but a FAN was ,which was very much needed. The menu we felt was limited for snacks, but prices were equal with the rest of the town. Dogs were allowed...

"Budget room, does the job! For £45 a night including breakfast, I wasn't expecting loads. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, the kettle and TV worked and the shower was all good. Don't expect a 5* experience from some cheap rooms above a pub, and you'll be just fine. Close to town centre. Breakfast was really good, and staff were great."
