"Incredible food…comfortable rooms"

"To start the trip, the staff at the front desk was lovely which made our initial impression positive. As we entered the villa there were ants on the counter tops and in the bathroom. As our stay progressed, the ant infestation got progressively worse. We finally decided to speak to the receptionists, where they told us it was our fault for not coming earlier to report the problem. A man entered our room without us knowing to clean out the ants. They did not give us any compensation for this....

"Leider wsr mein Zimmer sehr klein. Das Fenster konnte man nicht schließen, Es blieb eine 10 cm Lücke offen. Der Zigarettenrauch von den Balkonen kam so ins Zimmer. Außerdem war es sehr laut. Schlaf nur mit Gehörschutz möglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ganz OK. Der Preis war auch günstig. Vielleicht hatte ich nur ein schlechtes Zimmer bekommen."

"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

We did 4 nights and upon check-in we were offered the crown services package, an extra €20 per person per night for unlimited soft drinks, alcohol, own private area and late check-out. It was a no brainer and 100% worth it. Staff were amazing, food was great, hotel immaculate! Loved the fact that it was adults only too, super relaxing break and we will definitely book again!"

"Amazing breakfast and dinner. Spotless! You can feel the hotel had its splendid times in the past with all good quality finishings of the room and jetted bath. The resort has many things for a family holiday including tennis court, small but good gym, kids club, big pool for families and all the entertainments for kids as well. I have to say it’s my first time seeing staff cleaning a plant leaf by leaf! The furnitures are old but they are spotless! The staff love their job and they do a good...

Das Parfum meiner Freundin im Wert von ca. 250 EUR (Baccarat Rouge 540), das in unserem Zimmer im Hotel lag, war plötzlich kein Parfum mehr, in der Flasche war stattdessen Wasser. Ich habe den Vorfall dem Hotel gemeldet, aber mir wurde weder ein offizieller Incident Report noch eine schriftliche Bestätigung oder die offizielle „Hoja de Reclamaciones“ (Verbraucher Beschwerdeformular) ausgehändigt. "Tiene muchas cosas buenas, está en el centro del puerto de la Cruz, cerca de todo, habitaciones excelentes,amplias, cogimos una para 3 adultos y tenía 3 camas cómodas y grandes, limpieza un 10, trato amable y muy bueno, precio excepcional. Pero tiene un par de contras, no tiene aparcamiento cerca y el ascensor comienza en la primera planta, no recomendable para personas con problemas de movilidad."
