"The hotel is older but pretty clean. The rooms are a bit dark and dated but comfortable. Nice they have a fridge and freezer in the room and a large tv. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. (pool not heated). I would rather have the pool heated than have a hot tub, but nobody asked me, lol. The wonderful breakfast includes made to order omelets and real sausage or bacon, grits, along with oatmeal and all the fixens, cereal, bagels and toast and pastries...

"I booked this place because of price and the photos showed the rooms are decent. Boy was I wrong. The room had a bad smell, the beds felt like you’re sleeping on the ground, and the bathroom was a joke. The toilet was low to the ground like it’s only for toddlers, the shower…now I’m 5’3” tall and the shower height was shorter than me. Now like most people my daughter and I wear shower shorts when staying at hotels but at this place we wore crocs. Also, I must mention that the shower knobs keep...

"We only had a quick overnight, but the bureau in our room had a drawer that wouldn't stay shut and affer my shower I discovered there was no hair dryer. There was a plastic lid from the last guest on the bathroom floor. It wasn't a horrible room, but not great either. "

"Everything was great but they had a young man, skinny, black hair I think his name was Sam, he was AMAZING!! I sat down to have breakfast, He was by himself covering 7 or 8 tables. He would move as quick as he could, every single time he spoke to a customer though, he would not rush, he asked if they needed something else, was incredibly polite... he would offer ideas on the food, ect.. I own a small company and I am always looking at how people work and this young man did an awesome job!!"

"We only stayed one night. We were initially dumbfounded over the $50 per night dog fee. We have 2 dogs. They are trained and do not shed. That was ridiculous for a one night stay in our opinion. The rest was ok I suppose. We were there to take one dog to the animal hospital. This dog rate was extremely disappointing to us."
