"We were greeted by Barbara several hours before the official check-in and were allowed to store our lugage in the room. Our room appeared newly renovated with a really nice ambience (room 1 at the Ground Level). The kitchenette was Well equipped and the bathroom were great as Well. We ordered breakfast to be delivered next morning. And what a treat! Bled breakfast delivered a basket with loads of local specialities like yoghurt, cheese, saugases and bread - the best breakfast we have ever had....

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful property with a lovely blend of "old" and "new" ambiance/decor. Gorgeous wood bannisters and other wood touches that appear to be old/original with what appears to be newer tile, room numbers, etc. which compliment each other wonderfully. Appreciated the shelf inside the shower for my own shampoo, an outlet in the bathroom, and similar updates while keeping the charm of the building. Room and purblic areas were exceptionally clean. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and answered questions I had about driving laws in Slovenia."

"The surrounding area is very beautiful and the hotel looks very nice inside and outside. Bohinj is a lot nicer than Bled. Our room was a decent size. However, it was let down by a lack of practicality. E.g, there’s insufficient wardrobe and drawer space for two guests. There’s nowhere to open and store your luggage. In the bathroom, there aren’t any shelves or places to put your toiletries and no hooks to hang towels. They don’t have proper air conditioning, so I expect it gets extremely hot in the room during the height of summer. We used the spa facilities once during our stay and they are nice and clean. Unfortunately, the pool is tiny, so no swimming. The pool area is also very small with a lack of amenities, shade or pool service. We didn’t use the rest of the spa, as it was too hot down there and felt packed with just 6-8 people around. Breakfast was ok, buffet style and coffee from an automatic machine. They have a proper espresso machine, but you can’t have coffee from it with breakfast. The egg station was the best part of breakfast. We didn’t bother eating at the restaurant for dinner, as it’s expensive compared to other restaurants around the hotel and lacks atmosphere. The bar is good though, and you can drink outside in the garden on a nice day. They also sell nice cakes. This is a good hotel as a base for activities in the area and I would stay again, assuming the price remains reasonable."

"The hotel was very nicely decorated in a modern boutique style. It was very very clean in all areas. The staff were all friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was good. My room was quite querky in a retro style and was very big. The room was alos very clean and had good bathroom facilities. A couple SMALL negatives or constructive feedback. - 1.The minibar was free but was never repleneshed after daily useage of the bottled water. I had to ask which I thought was odd. 2. There was and electrical socket box next to the window that protruded from the floor by around 75mm square. The electrical socket was right under the curtain and not easily seen. I either kicked it or trod on it every day whilst opening/closing the curtains. Quite painful and annoying, especially barefoot. I would recommend this hotel to others."
