"We finished walking The Camino in Santiago and decided to treat ourselves to a night at this Parador, It was a great call! The hotel is magnificent. Fabulous location. Great staff. Room was just perfect (and it had a bath which was heaven after walking 23km!). Bed was wonderfully comfortable. We had supper in the hotel restaurant which was a delight and well priced. The hotel is the most amazing building and you could spend hours just wandering around it, admiring the architecture. Breakfast in the morning was also really good. The only complaint - we kept getting lost as its a maze and there were some renovations going on. Overall a fabulous stay and we wish we had stayed two nights rather than just the one!"

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The bathroom itself was fine, but the amenities were disappointing. Although they were technically new and unopened, they looked as if they had been handled by many people before. It seemed the cleaner hadn’t replaced them in a long time, which gave the hotel a cheap impression. The kitchen closed at 10:00 pm, and when I arrived at 10:15 pm, there was no option to eat at the hotel. Instead, the staff suggested I download a delivery app and order food myself. In Spain, where late dining is common, this was quite surprising and inconvenient."
