"There is NO beach. It’s like a rundown marina. The closest beach is 40 mins. There is nothing close to the stay. I wish I booked something in the center of the city because it was nearly impossible to get a taxi or a grab. And when you did it was very expensive ($40 CAD). Its not worth booking this place to save money. Also the address brings you about 3 blocks away from the actual property. You have to walk through sketchy streets. Its a shame because the staff is so sweet."

"This is a family driven budget hotel. It is quite which is appreciated. The land lady is very nice and she served us breakfast buffe everymorning (payed extra for that). "Overall, our experience at the hotel was mixed. On the positive side, we managed to check in an hour early, the staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed the pool and beach. Breakfast was quite good as well. On the downside, we had an issue at the hotel’s restaurant called “Kitchen.” We ordered a salad that came with only three prawn crackers while there were two of us dining, so it wasn’t enough. When we asked for just a couple more crackers—something that costs basically nothing—they refused and said it wasn’t allowed unless we placed another order for a salad. As my partner’s job is a food and beverage manager we know the cost is negligible, and expected more flexibility, especially from a five-star hotel. Later, they even offered to send the crackers up to our room, which didn’t make sense because we needed them with our meal at the time, not later.In summary, the hotel is nice and the staff are respectful. At breakfast the manager did apologize for the break down with communication."

"The buggy system was cumbersome and inconsistent. Don’t think it was a personnel issues but just the system. Could be 2-20 mins different so was hard to plan when they would come. North was very good to us the entire trip! Bill was excellent with customer service the entire time. Khim was excellent at the pool and the tour to the islands."
