"Positano is not for the weak of walking, if you can't or have large issues with walking this is not the place for you unless you have a Sherpa. That being said, Villa Yiara is fantastic, this was an anniversary trip for us so yes, we splurged and paid for the suite. The staff is so helpful. They have a list of restaurants to try and one of them even has a driver that will pick you up and return you to your hotel at no charge,, but tip the driver please. "This guest house has prominent position in the centre of Pogerola village, up in the hills 1000ft above Amalfi, with amazing views over the hills to Ravello and out to the sea. The village is small but well served with restaurants, bars. Walking to and from Amalfi is not for the faint-hearted, but there is an excellent bus service down to Amalfi, and the return shuttle runs till 11.30pm.
