"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"The Gulf view was absolutely amazing, however the rooms need to be updated. There was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway and a ton of children in the hot tub.
I'd say this place is better suited for families than couples. Our AC was extremely loud and our cards didn't work when attempting to enter the 2nd building. Which isn't a huge deal but definitely an inconvenience. "
