"This was my first stay at this charming Victorian style building. Hands down this was twice the room we could have had for a comparable price at a mainstream chain hotel. The bathroom unfortunately was an unnecessary disappointment. The toilet had a plumbing issue and footing in the shower was a challenge with no bath mat and a shower curtain that was coming apart and underfoot. "This is a restored hotel and a very nice place to stay with amazing views of the bay. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were thick, the water was hot and plentiful. Only drawback was the bathroom needs some serious cleaning. The shower and sink areas had a lot of mold that needs to be dealt with. It wasn’t “OMG, disgusting!l mold but sufficient to warrant mentioning. If we were staying more than one night we would have asked them to deal with it. The staff was ver6 helpful and friendly and the restaurants were very nice - we ate both dinner and breakfast there. "
