"Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel. Nice staff; good restaurant at night. Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains ."

"Bellissima struttura in posizione perfetta per visitare l'intero Paese Basco: Bilbao e la Costa si raggiungono in metro, nel raggio di un'ora di macchina (c'è un ottimo parcheggio coperto vicino, anche economico) c'è tutta la costa da Santander a Donostia e si arriva anche a Gasteiz. La camera è comoda e pulita e la vista dal lato del ponte è bellissima, soprattutto all'alba. "

Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. "Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful. We booked mainly for its location close to the ferry port. Secure parking was a must for a fully loaded car after a long stay in Spain. The food in the restaurant was basic but very good. Maria who served us was by herself, but did a great job in dealing with a busy restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for the reason we chose it."
