Good hotel in Herzliya

Good location by the beach. The staff was friendly and hotel has easy access to the beach. The hotel needs refurbishment but it’s comfortable and it’s good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is situated on the beach with spectacular views of the sea from most rooms, lovely varied breakfast, we were allowed to do a late check in to fit with my flight schedule at no extra charge. Highly recommend!!!

Highly recomment

Beautifully positioned and very clean and comfortable. View from the atrium is beautiful. Steps down to a stunning stretch of beach. We were there when war with Iran broke out and the safe room was well equipped and comfortable. In these difficult circumstances the staff did all they could to help us.

So much wasted potential, this could be an amazing place to stay at. For now its a great location and that's it, the hotel is poorly managed and maintained, from ripped carpet at hallways to mold in bathrooms, missing light bulbs, broken dirty furniture and super dirty windows and glass railing that makes it hard to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean. An absurd and lawsuit waiting to happen is a slider door to the balcony that can be opened only if you are strong and fit, and has no handle to open from the outside, and to make it worse it dosent have a lock. The manager's attitude shines and followed by her stuff that instead of taking responsibility, act and solve issues, find excuses and blame the gusests (not only us, others as well), the manager attitude is a beacon to what happens in this place. On top of all that the Wi-Fi is as slow as if its 2010 with dead zones at about 50% of the hotel, including inside the room. This place was probably at some point a luxury hotel, but they dont deserve to call themselves that anymore, at best its a 3 star hotel at a great location. Don't let the pictures or the misleading description of their website fool you, this is not what you get. Time for corporate to take action and save this place. Dear management, if you are interested in improving, I would be happy to share with you photos, videos, and my horrifying experience.

Wonderful location and fantastic breakfast.

The location is spectacular and eating breakfast with this view every morning was wonderful and delicious! The hotel is undergoing renovation so the current condition as of Feb 2025, which was a bit worn, will be refreshed in the coming months. The top floors are already being renovated. Recommended!

Amazing staff

We stayed at the Okeanos Herbert Samuel for 8 night in early June and had a spacious comfortable room with great pool facilities and breakfast. We loved the calm atmosphere and location to the beach. When the war broke out the staff went above and beyond expectations making sure we had everything we needed and were all amazing in what was a very stressful time. The shelter on ground floor felt very safe and comfortable despite the number of time we went there. Limor and her team were exceptional and we can not thank them enough for all the support during a very difficult time for them all. We will definitely be back again when we next return to Israel in hopefully more peaceful times

Was alright. Breakfast was a bit in the boring side. Rooms have seen better days and the entire decor seems like it could use a little TLC. Staff are friendly and curtious. There's nothing wrong with it other than it looks a bit tired. Parking in the area is a nuisance and expensive if you can't use Pango.

Air con not working properly in first room. Took a determined effort to get the hotel staff on duty to acknowledge the issue before eventually moving us to a room where the air con was ok. Attitude problem! 2nd room comfortable & quiet. Pool area ok but spoilt by over loud house music blaring. If the idea was to dissuade guests from staying too long it worked brilliantly. Only one towel per person allocated, had to collect from reception. Decent breakfast and complimentary cakes all day in the lower lobby area.

Feels like home.

I love this hotel. The staff are truly lovely to deal with, the accommodations are right on the beach, clean, feels like home. It's not the most lavish, but definitely luxurious enough. It is the most "feels like home" hotel. Sunsets on the water are spectacular. Close proximity to great restaurants.

A Wonderful Getaway

From beginning to end our stay was exceptional. Ganit who checked us in took incredible care of us throughout our trip. She always had a smile and treated us like family. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The pool area was magnificent and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Hertzelia again.
