We explored quite a lot of Barcelona and decided this was definitely the best area to stay as we were near so many local eateries. The room was spotless, thanks to the fabulous housekeeping team. "The staff was amazing (especially the guy with shaved head). I gave 5 stars despite the construction outdoors. They have at least double paned glass that helps soundproof the rooms. I can’t wait to come back when street construction is complete. Rooms are small but well laid out. Fantastic location!"

"It's a beautiful hotel in a great location for walking everywhere in the Gothic Quarter. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The terrace on top is very nice and quite comfortable in the evenings. The breakfast set up is excellent. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to get an iron for guests and make sure that the TV's work properly. Our remote did't work right and was not fixed or replaced. "There is a lady named Valerie (if im not mistaken) was attending me during my check-in. She speaks very good English and she is friendly / attentive which you could feel you are so welcomed. I'm lucky that I have a room upgrade during my stayed. It comes with a room with balcony where you could have a view of the main road. It was not noisy, the room was spacious and mostly importantly it was clean and new!! Overall, I recommend those who are planning to Barcelona can stay in this hotel. "
