"Zelda Dearest is charming in every way. Walking into the building feels like coming home. The room was well stocked, delightfully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The staff was above and beyond lovely to interact with and very helpful. The location is an easy walk to downtown. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay."

"The Flat Iron was a great hotel experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has a lot of character with Art Deco vibes throughout. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Asheville. Only downside would be lack of parking, if you bring a car you either have to valet park or pay for daily parking at a local garage."

"The building is a very cozy, historic hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The squeaky, antiquated floors add to the charm, but aren't for everyone. With a blend of modern deco while staying true to the 1924 bones, it's a beautiful place. Hope to stay again sometime soon. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Location is right in downtown, close to everything. Very modern and clean hotel. Rooms are very thoughtfully designed. The furniture choices, design is superb. Wonderful surprise was the 5-6:30 reception hour serving wine/beer/snacks. And the breakfast was tasty, great options, not like the typical boring tasteless one. Only gripe was the $12 per day parking charge. Didnt know about it until I reached. But all in all a superb hotel"

In a quaint location, this historic home has kept the charm (gas fireplace in the Rose Bedroom) along with adding more modern features ( jacuzzi tub in the Oak Terrace Bedroom). By our choice, we stayed two nights in each of those rooms. Both were very nice, unique and equally enjoyable The breakfast was lovely with warm muffins, bagels, Greek yogurt & homemade granola, and more. Best of all, fresh orange...

"Great hotel for an Asheville trip. Location is excellent and most downtown attractions, breweries, and restaurants are easily walkable. The bar at night was a fun place to hangout with the other guests and talk. The poor bartender needed help though. Too many people for him to be making drinks and running late night bites."

"Clean rooms fully stocked. Bathroom and shower are huge! The very kind gentleman that checked us in was friendly, professional, and efficient. He even texted me after we settled in to ensure everything was up to our satisfaction. Very impressed! The “pantry” in the lobby is very well stocked and this property also offers a buffet breakfast in the mornings, check out at noon, and a roof top bar with music and seasonal events. We are very happy with our stay! "
