There is a lively plaza behind the hotel with some kind of band that played most nights but they were quiet by a little after ten and besides them you really couldn’t hear much noise from outside at all as the windows and walls are very well sound proofed. "It's a beautiful hotel in a great location for walking everywhere in the Gothic Quarter. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. "The buffet breakfast was great, with lots of choice. The outdoor pool was disappointing because it was always crowded, with no place to sit. But I acknowledge that the hotel probably had limited space to deal with in terms of layout. We had a minor medical emergency and the front desk staff very helpful in help us deal with it. The room did not have a refrigerator, so I recommend travellers check on that prior to booking if thats important to you. I should have double check when I booked."
