Was happily surprised by a few things: The apartment is on the Piazza Carmine where there is a lovely old church Santa Maria del Carmine with the Brancacci Chapel. Also about a half block away and to left of the church steps there is a laundry mat, and just across the street from this a small grocery store, and a few more strides away a family bakery/kitchen where we got sandwiches, pastries and lasagna — lovely generational...

The property was an easy walk to Ponte Vecchio and most tourist attractions. It was also close to the bus that we needed. The kitchen facilities were great and enabled us to eat in.
