I can not rate this motel high enough, great hosts, impeccably clean and well thought out rooms. Amazing views, bikes, 3 pools and the list goes on. I give this 10:10. It’s a 15 min walk to town but so much around it so it was the perfect location for us to appreciate the lakes.

Aircon and towel rack had been turned on before check in. Owner and staff are super friendly. The room was clean, well maintained and very warm for our two nights in August. Nice view from living room and balcony. Heated pool and hot tub are nice too. Shopping centre and restaurants are nearby. Lake and the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club is just across the road and our 3yo enjoyed a morning walk and playing at lakefront. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend to couples and families.

The view overlooking the taupo lake was nice

The building looked old, but the bedding was clean. The kitchen and crockery were a bit worn and needed to be replaced. The view overlooking the lake was nice.
