"Lovely, quiet stay, good breakfast and breathtaking view! Just a heads-up, there’s no ramp at the entrance, so you’ll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A/C wasn’t available during our stay either. The weather was nice for keeping the windows open, but with allergy season, it’s kind of a trade-off: either close the window and deal with the heat, or open it and deal with allergies."

"We loved our stay here. The staff was so kind, and allowed us to check in early since we arrived 4 hours before usual check-in time. The hotel is very spacious and rooms were so quiet. Could not hear neighbors at all. Breakfast, while not included in room cost, had a good variety and it was nice to not have to go searching for a good cup of coffee and food around town first thing in the morning. The location was perfect for our trips to Bellagio and Como. We would definitely stay here again. "

"You won’t get a decent nights sleep absolutely noise "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"The entire stay was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly, occasional trouble with public transport to get up so take this in to account, but other than that it was an excellent week away!"

"The hotel grounds and spa were beautiful However, the room: decor, comfort and usability let’s down the hotel and thus the experience The WiFi in the room was patchy and the tv only had Italian speaking programs and no option for subtitles in a chosen language. This coupled with the poor WiFi meant that on the 3 rainy days of our trip you are limited for things to do sadly "
