"This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). I felt safe who was clean they use Dove products, so grateful for your skin, the environment and women's initiatives. Just an all-around wonderful place that deserves the five stars. Breakfast was namebrand muffins, coffee, but no fresh fruit. Only recommendation I'd make to the staff, it would be lovely if you put out a few apples or oranges at breakfast. "Staying in the city of Lake City, with a view of the lake, and walking distance around the lake and city from the motel, gives a feeling of upnorth Michigan costal, convenience, clean, and quaint."

"We had a small issue when we first checked in, but it was minor and corrected right away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would say it is a good place to stay. We felt safe at this hotel."

"Room was clean. Front desk was very helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was waffles,cold foods and bagels and a few pastries. The small play area was also nice. "

"We love how big the rooms are with amazing views of the bay. The beach area is well-maintained and the free breakfast is appreciated although there could be a better assortment of foods. Great hotel for families, located close to many things to do for kids in the area. The outdoor pool was being serviced while we were there so was no water in it or the hot tub which was disappointing. This is our 2nd time staying here and we would go back, the kids love it there."

"The room was clean and comfortable. It looks just as described. Staff friendly. I think it was very affordable and close to everything we wanted to see. It is a real gem. My only issue was the beach access- we only seen a private entrance to it but we didn’t ask if we were allowed to use it. I would definitely stay again!"

"Breakfast menu was ok-slim. Hot tub and pool area were pretty much as expected. Room was fine. However, as in many hotels now days, the tv remote was very hard to figure out by older, not real tech savvy travelers. Parking was fine and nearby restaurants were great. "
