"We booked this hotel last minute on a road trip. We were extremely happy with our choice. The price for the area was very good. I was worried about it being noisy since it was listed as an airport hotel but it was very quiet. The room darkening shades were wonderful and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast. Nothing out of this world but sufficient and convenient. I would stay here again if ever in the area. "

"The other reviews definitely threw me off from coming here, but I’m very glad I gave it a shot. “Old carpets, etc” has nothing to do with the stay in my opinion. Starting with check in, John is truly incredible, explained everything to us & how to check out. Upon getting to the room, everything was cleaned & smelled great. ( I always go behind and wipe down every surface anyway just because you can’t expect the ladies to get every single surface how you like it! ) so it was great for me. Beds...

"I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)"
"They are great hosts! They were very accommodating for our dietary needs for breakfast and the hot beverage bar was bountiful. Loved being able to go from the hot tub to the sauna to the seasonal pool within steps. Also enjoyed the massage chair! "
