"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"We arrived at the hotel and everything looked fine at first—until we entered our room. Instead of proper beds, we found a broken air mattress and a small bent metal folding bed. The air conditioning wasn’t working either. The owner insisted that this room was an “upgrade.” After we complained, he moved us to another room, but that one didn’t even have a private bathroom or shower, which was not what we had booked. "This is a hidden gem in lake bled, short 5 mins walk from the main part of the lake. Lovely newly refurbished rooms and the staff were very nice. They have parking too which is a massive plus as parking anywhere near the lake is very expensive. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but that looks lovely too. Rooms have very good AC also"
