"it was a perfect location, just a few steps from the High Street and the harbour. Alhough the summer has been unusually warm, the room was breezy in the evening and overnight, and I didn’t need the tower fan that was provided to get a good night’s sleep each of the four nights I stayed. There was tea and coffee and plenty of cold water in the fridge. The clawfoot cast-iron bathtub was wonderful. The host was attentive and responded quickly to my questions."

"First room was not nice asked to move paid £30 for upgrade much nicer. Breakfast and facilities very nice !! Staff generally pleasant and helpful. But manager very somber faced and stressed scary to approach when telling him restaurant food was not acceptable. Evening food very pricey compared to Rick Stein where for same price much better quality and quantity :( Breakfast lovely but don’t think I would eat here for evening meal"

"Lovely room with sea view and nice en suite. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Reasonable choice at breakfast and all fresh. Good location above the beach - lift recommended! Plenty of rrestaurants nearby, also a convenience store. We enjoyed leaving our car behind and using the open top buses 50/70 to Poole, Swanage and Hengistbury Head. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel (provided you don't mind a noisy breakfast if you eat inside!)"

"It has been a few years since we have stayed at Marsham Court Hotel due to the general price increases. However, after receiving a discount code, we quickly booked. The staff were absolutely fantastic! Helpful, friendly and sorted any query quickly and with a smile. They could not have been more helpful! The weather was very hot outside so they had near reception a big water urn with ice which they even let us fill up our own water bottles with. The amenities are fantastic. Infact the weather was so hot that the kids preferred the outdoor pool even to the beach! The hotel is across the road from the path leading down to the beach where the pier, shops and facilities are, so a fantastic location!"
