On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. "We added an extra day to our original booking and the receptionist organised one room was used throughout which meant we didn’t need to pack up and change rooms. Bar food was great with a varied menu; restaurant evening menu was more limited. Service was good although food was slow in the restaurant . Breakfast was good and the hotel provided a continental breakfast, with coffee if wanted as we left at 6 am. Staff were pleasant and helpful"

"The hotel was clean,fresh & modern looking with excellent facilities. Comfortable beds & pillows. Was a little bit too hot in room & you couldn't open the windows any further due to the restraint at the bottom of the window. Some sort of air conditioning or fan would be nice especially n the room during the hot summer days as it's difficult to get off to sleep in the heat.The staff are all helpful & very pleasant. The breakfast was nice too with plenty to choose from. All in all had a lovely 3 days stay to see my son.😃😃"

"the breakfast was wonderful! I love the coffee machines, the selection was great, almost a full English. gets a bit crowded in the serve yourself area but plenty of seating g a nice bright large dining area. TBH we last came to MCR 11 years ago & remembered the hotel for the breakfast. 7 night stay 2 rooms total 4 travellers. No sir conditioning but it didn't get too warm & fans were good. good housekeeping, easy self park there's a fee of course as it's only 5 mins from terminals"
