"The hotel itself was nice, though not quite as new or pristine as the photos suggest, showing a fair amount of age and wear in places. While the decor was nice, our bathroom had broken tiles and a badly stained toilet. On the positive side, the receptionist kindly allowed us an 11:00 am check-out and upgraded us to a third-floor balcony room with a side view of the sea. "Great location handy to all the places we visited. Nice and quiet spot considering it off a main road. We will definitely stay there when next in New Plymouth."

"The room was small but clean and comfortable. The basin was very small and the shower difficult to access but there was plenty of hot water. The microwave was too high for me to reach! There were very limited utensils in the kitchen and only a small benchtop oven. We enjoyed our stay and will know better what to expect in future."

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"

"This motel was fabulous. I had booked the one bedroom suite and it was so roomy. Everything was very clean and looked new. The bathroom was nice with a good shower head. There is no one at reception but they are easy to contact through the reception phone. Would definitely stay again"
