"I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. Rita and the staff made sure all our needs were taken...

"We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."

"We added another night to our stay and we were upgraded to a suite at a reduced price. It was a great room with fantastic views of the lake and mountains. The staff was very friendly and we truly loved our stay here! "

"Beautiful rooms in a smart hotel close to the spa. The room size was excellent, and the coffee machine, Marshall speaker and free mini bar were very much enjoyed. The aircon didn’t work unfortunately. Also we weren’t able to use regular eu adapters in the sockets next to the bed. Apart from that everything was perfect! "

The hosts were awesome, very helpful and kind, Giacomo was amazing offering suggestions for exploring the areas around Lake Como, dining options and historical sites in the region.The property and grounds were very well maintained. The pool and garden was a great way to wind down after a day of exploring. On our last day we noticed our rental car had a flat tire, the hosts called one of their friends to repair the tire and escorted us to the shop to get...
