"The staff was friendly , and helpful. Everyone was smiling and looked happy to be there. However the property needs deep cleaning. And normal cleaning. Rugs dirty. The room smelled musty. The furniture was outdated. The curtain was dirty. We changed rooms after the sofa bed got stuck. And the ninth floor was super hot in atrium area."

"We had spent the three prior evenings in other IHG properties, and made the terrible mistake of booking this location prior to walking through it. In spite of our booking confirmation showing a burger and fries in the hotel restaurant, it was closed. The front desk clerk informed us that it was "closed for remodeling", in spite of having a fully stocked bar ( with the lights turned off ). Entering the property felt a bit like entering a secure government building, with one narrow automatic door in a narrow walkway. The highway noise was as bad as we've heard anywhere we've stayed in the past. We ended up finding another hotel, and attempted to get a refund through Expedia since we'd booked with them, which was useless ( they offered a $25 future booking credit ). The IHG site only offers communication with an AI chatbot, which was equally useless. Lesson learned the hard way, but hoping to save other travelers from suffering the same fate."

"I found our check it easy and friendly. Laura did a good job. Our room had problems. The beds were clean and comfortable. There was no noise or loud partying going on, so we slept well. Our refrigerator did not work and they sent someone to check it out. He told them we put to much in it. I had given it 2.5 hours to cool, but it did not. He had the front desk call to tell me that and my response was the fridge was not working and neither was the phone, or our bedside lamps. The significance to this is i have to keep my meds cold. They replaced the refrigerator and we had to leave the door open so the machine could vent the heat to help cooling. I also had to place an ice bucket and I knew it was working, because there was still ice in the bucket in the morning. We could not use the small balcony because the cover to the air conditioning was leaking. We also found small roaches in the bathroom. But, the pool was heated and nice and a beautiful view of the beach."
