The bedside lamp was not working. There are no restaurants in the approximately and they only serve paninis. It has a beautiful view but it is quite the drive to get up there. The credit machine was not working so we had to pay cash.

Vue panoramique impressionnante

Hôtel très mignon, petit déjeuner correct pas très copieux mais suffisant. Piscine et bar avec une vue sublime sur Taormine. Les chambres sont spacieuses et vintage. Petite route sinueuse pour accéder à l’hôtel mai ça en vaut le détour. Le plus impressionnant est la vue panoramique sur toute la baie, l’Etna et Taormine.

Hotel situated at the top of mountain, amazing

Hotel situated at the top of mountain. We go by car on zigzag small road. But, nice view ! Quiet, clean, possibility to take meals (dinner and breakfast) in a very nice terrace. Good menu and good service !

De lo mejor que nos llevamos de Sicilia

Elegir Il Casale di Caterina ha sido la mejor decisión que podríamos haber tomado. Un lugar ideal para descansar del estrés de las carreteras sicilianas. Sí que es cierto que está un poco apartado, porque tienes que subir una montaña, ¡y con cuidado! porque los lugareños son algo temerarios al volante... pero no hay que tener miedo! Habrá solo unos 10 minutos desde la carretera general. En cuanto al hotel, vistas de toda la costa, de Taormina, de Naxos, el volcán Etna... piscina y tranquilidad, muuucha tranquilidad. El personal es encantador, a pesar de que no hablan español, nos hemos entendido perfectamente y no nos ha faltado de nada, un trato inmejorable. ¡Nuestras felicitaciones para el equipo de Il Casale di Caterina! Si volviera a viajar a esa zona, me alojaría sin dudarlo en el mismo sitio :)

Accueil très sympathique de Roberta et Simone, bon petit déjeuner et accès libre au jacusi , une très bonne adresse à ce une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie et l'Etna juste en face de notre terrasse

Bellissimo posto incantevole paesaggio buono per gli amanti della natura scomodo per chi ama il mare non consiglio vacanza con bimbi - Qualche piccolo neo sulla pulizia e nel dominare le zanzare per il resto tutto tranquillo - Per chi ama dormire in silenzio ottimo.

au calme ,à l'extérieur de Taormine , vue magnifiq

Un charmant B&B, isolé, à 6 km environ du centre de Taormine et sans restaurant à proximité. Accès difficile par une petite route très escarpée et mal indiquée même avec l'aide de GPS. Les efforts de conduite sont récompensés par une vue époustouflante sur Taormine, Castelmola, la baie de Giardini Naxos et l'Etna. L.'accueil est sympathique et serviable . Notre chambre pour 4 personnes était propre et spacieuse avec équipements de cuisine donnant la possibilité de se restaurer sur place. Petit déjeuner copieux . Séjour en famille très agréable pour nous dans ce petit hôtel ,au calme et en dehors de l'agitation touristique de Taormine du mois d'août .

Juste pour la vue ! Pour le reste très médiocre

Nous arrivons d'une semaine de vacances dans la casale di catarina. 2 adultes et 2 enfants de 12 et 16. La vue est magnifique. Taormina, Castelmolla, Etna. Attendez vous à des conditions d'accès très difficiles et un éloignement des sites principaux. Sur place, nous avons été tres decu des prestations: chambre minuscule, clic clac dans la cuisine pour les enfants, 1 minuscule armoire pour 4. Petits déjeuners très médiocres: jambon et fromage industriel, impossible d'avoir une boisson chocolatée pour les enfants (obligés d'acheter le chocolat nous même), beurre, confiture biscottes et pain de mie, point final. Les propriétaires n'etaient pas sur place et la gestion du domaine etait confié a une personne qui ne parle que l'Italien et qui manque de "sens touristique". Une borne wifi itinérante dans le domaine qui disparait et réapparait au bon vouloir de cette personne. Des votre arrivée, l'obligation ferme de payer la totalité du sejour. Lors de notre depart 8h du matin, difficulté d'obtenir le petit dej car ce monsieur n'etait pas prévenu la veille. Malgré la vue impressionnante, les prestations d'accueil sont tres insuffisantes et je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

çà se mérite!

Hôtel très bien entretenu, appartement propre et neuf, vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, la montagne, Taormine et Castelmola. Très bon accueil par le propriétaire, belle piscine. Attention, l'hôtel est assez haut (800m env), isolé à flanc de montagne avec une route difficile d'accès, ce qui est vite oublié par la vue et la quiétude des lieux.
