"Property grounds were nice. Rooms are a bit dated. The TV and telephone in our room did not work. Manager at reception was very accommodating and made our stay much better. The massages were excellent. Highly recommend them.! Wifi is awful! Love the balconies! The other downside is the beach, the beach is beautiful but you have to pay 25$ for 2 chairs and umbrella every day if you want to be on the beach. Otherwise they do have beach chairs on man made beach near infinity pool. Just depends on your preference! Food is ok. Nothing to rave about but something for everyone!"

"A lovely little stay in Stonetown on our way out of Zanzibar. Perfectly positioned right on the beach and in a good location to explore Stonetown. We had a nice dinner overlooking the locals playing on the sand and in the sea, slept well, and despite our very early start had a take away breakfast provided. A really good experience."

"The Staff in the property are amazing especially a lady named Angel. quality of the breakfast, coffeeshop / bar and the view are all great. Location is prime and very safe for tourists not familiar with the city. We very much enjoyed our trip."

"I had the best experience i’ve ever had in any hotel and I’ve been to many to throughout my travels. The kindness and hospitality of the stall was consistent and genuine. In addition, the menu was amazing. The food was delicious and my family and I enjoyed it immensely. Given the opportunity to visit DarSalam again I will absolutely stay at the Hyatt Regency hotel. Thank you."

"The hotel was beautiful with access to a stunning beach and views. Sunbeds were enough.The rooms were more than comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was varied, plentiful and delicious. The pools were awesome, all four being a standard 1.2m deep. The activities and entertainment was fun and exciting. Wifi was great! There is something for everyone. Superb hotel for adults and kids alike. Access to a 24hr lobby bar, beach bar and 3 themed restaurants with delicious food (booking via Riu app). Nothing to fault. Taking home a memorable stay at Riu Jambo."
