Hotel Dekat Taneytown Memorial Park

"Eisenhower hotel is huge with many conference rooms with none in use during my stay. Lobby was closed and did not appear to have staff on site as they connect to Aspire Hotel by a walkway and long hallway. I did not feel safe as there were very few travelers, entrance door was not key coded so anyone can walk in and parking lot was not lit well. Was put on second floor and appeared no one else on floor. I was very uneasy as was traveling alone. I went to Aspire hotel and asked to move...

"Clean room very pleasant staff. With in walking distance to major tourist places and eateries. We felt very safe. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special."

"Room was clean, and it is a convenient location for a very low price relative to surrounding options. The breakfast selection was pretty rough, and the dining room had a funky smell. But the room was so cheap we just justified going to a nearby diner for breakfast instead."

"The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice"

"The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

"ALL the staff were great! The breakfast was awesome. The issues were our room smelled like smoke, I found dog hair in our room, and A LOT of the people staying there had dogs (I thought they were not allowed.) Not a huge issue, but it seemed like the staff took a smoke break every hour!"

"It is an older property, but was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great; convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions."
