I drove all night to attend a rehearsal dinner In Florida from NJ. I asked to have an early check-in and I was told no. That Check-in is at 3pm. I became very upset. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told the night person was the manager. I later found out he was not the manager. He did not speak the truth. Another person told me This person was the owner of the hotel that was not true. Then I was told by the man calling himself the owner; he would leave and get a shower chair for me that was requested months ago and confirmed by me calling the hotel. That didn't happen. The lady manager that refused to allow me early check-in gave me a chair from the lounge. I had back surgery twice and I really didn't want to fall trying to wash my feet. I explained that to the lady. I couldn't get onto Wi-Fi and I called the front desk twice before getting on; no instruction in the room explaining the Wi-Fi. I couldn't get the lights to come on in the room. Again, I called the front desk and was told to insert a card in the box on the wall No instructions in the room. I asked about an ice machine and I was told if I wanted ice to go and buy it from the gas station. Things that should be noted in the room or at least told to me at check-in were not. There were roaches in the room. I will have great difficulty recommending your hotel in the future. And I will share my experience with my family and friends.
