We booked what we thought was going to be a room with a kitchen, but it turned out the kitchen was part of a shared space, to be shared with all the rooms in that part of the floor. The kitchen was impeccably clean, supremely well equipped and beautiful. We used it every morning to make coffee and prepare some light foods to take with us to the beach. Not too many people use it which was nice. We had it practically to ourselves during the five days we were there. The noise level was a different story. My room had thin walls and I could hear the person in the next room snoring at night. The hallway leading out of the room and to the kitchen area was loud at times. People who were simply conversing quietly as they walked pass it could be heard in detail. The doors close to a loud bang that resonates throughout the floor, making the unnecessary noise more than a nuisance. We've used Roost hotels in Philadelphia before and loved the experience there. Overall, if we come back to Tampa we would try to reserve a studio or a one bedroom next time.
