"Great room loved the semi outdoor bath. Good location in Nikko and friendly staff. Wonderful couple of days. Delicious dinners and breakfast. If anything, maybe a bit less tofu in the meals, I know it is a specialty. Would highly recommend. "

The staff is really wonderful and were amazing. The beds super comfortable and the room had an amazing view of the river and mountains. If you’re a nostalgist like me you won’t be disappointed. "

"For a supposed 2 star rated hotel was well above that, on par with 3 star anywhere in Australia. Room was very comforable and bed was biggest I have ever slept in, could have fitted 4 people easy."

Ken and Ise were very welcoming and helpful with helping us get settled, finding our way around Nikko and just generally friendly and helpful. If you're interested in a more homey atmosphere vs. Corporate hotel this is the place for you "
