"We had a great time at the Fairmont. From check-in until check-out everything was excellent. The hotel's architecture, the views, the location, and the art deco swimming pool (worth looking at even if you don't swim) are amazing. Also, everyone who works at the hotel was cheerful, helpful, and warm. I usually prefer small hotels over large luxury hotels, but this one is definitely worth going to."

"A bit far from downtown Ottawa, but overall I had a good stay. When I tried to self-check in, there was no key in the lockbox. After contacting the staff, they immediately realized there had been a mix-up on their end—another guest with a similar name had been assigned my room by mistake. They quickly resolved the issue and gave me a different room, so it was not a major inconvenience. There was loud live music on the night we arrived that continued quite late, but the following two nights were quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Ottawa in the future."
