Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park Budget Hotels from RM249

"We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or apologize either, which lead us to believe that this was not an isolated incident and that the hotel staff is aware of the issue. For a hotel in this price range, we expect at least a basic acknowledgment of the situation and some reassurance that it would be addressed. This experience really affected our impression of the hotel."

"The breakfast host was extremely rude - to the point of yelling at me. The hotel appears clean in the lobby until you get to the hallways and rooms. My first room was a smoking room. The second room was a suite with a very dirty and stained couch. There is a smell all over the hotel. And the elevator made a terrible grinding noise. I would advise everyine to avoid this hotel"

"First room smelled like mold. Came back to the desk and told her. She went into the room and came back out not saying a word to us. Giving us a room on a different floor and didnt even tell us how to get to the room. She was rude to begin with and worse after the room change"

"The hotel great was very clean and centrally located to our event destination. The staff were friendly and courteous while checking in. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Convenient location and mid-century feel. Cool bar scene and yummy breakfast. Some street noise and limited parking were only negatives. "

"Overall not a bad place for a night sleep. Pool wasn’t open or even ready to be opened. It was green. Staff were very friendly! They do charge for $50 damage fee, BUT it is refunded. We booked a king bed with couch; couch did have pull out bed, which I didn’t even know until trying to make a bed! So that was a plus."

"The location is good because is close to Ruby falls. Is a driving distance but for the lower cost is the closest one. To no stop the surprise was close to Rock City too so no was in my trip plan so we added in our itinerary. Of course after all that walk the priority is resting and the hotel is perfect silence to sleep."
