"The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. "

"Great location. Close enough to walk everywhere but not right in the midst of a super busy area. Parking was very convenient right behind the building. Bathroom was well lit and had great shower pressure. Breakfast room was very nice and had a variety of options. Roof top was lovely (pool unheated). I was also surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine on my birthday. The only negatives were the beds and room temperature. The AC would not stay at a cooler setting and the beds were not breathable...

The room we got was an upgrade because we had found the first room’s bathroom uncomfortably cramped. The room we got was an extra story to climb stairs but João insisted that he carry our bags. "The location was ideal. We stayed in three places in Madeira and this was our favourite. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are quite small. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked well. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the bay which was nice. Breakfast was good and is served on the roof so you can enjoy the view. Parking is nearby at a busy public lot. Guys hang out there to assist you in finding a spot. Just have to be patient and give them a tip! "
