"This was an excellent onsen hotel (we've stayed in quite a few). The room we had (Japanese style room with open air bath) was spacious, even for a family of four and included a small garden area as well as the bath. The food was exceptional - and served by incredibly friendly and helpful staff who our daughters loved engaging with. There were toys for the children that could be taken to the room and they also enjoyed watching the goldfish that swim in the indoor 'river' in the reception area. There is plenty of car parking too. The only downsides: the bathroom area in the room (i.e. WC and shower/bath, not the in-room open air bath) was a little tired, with some cracked tiles etc. And ideally they would have been able to provide a cot for our baby rather than a small futon. But would highly recommend overall."

"Booked it as a place to relax and enjoy. It was a 20 min drive from the morioka station. The place was next to a river and was nice and peaceful. The hotel had 2 onsens - one on the 2nd (larger) and the 3rd. Visited the smaller one on the 3rd which also has an outdoor option, which was nice and peaceful at night. The family room on the top floor had marvellous views of the river and mountains. Rooms were clean and spacious. Futons were prepared when you go for dinner. Kaisekei dinner was excellent as well with different menus every day for our 4 day stay. Breakfast was the same everyday, but the variety was large enough. There were special activities at the hotel every night for about 2 months which were quite memorable. It the special mention must be for the staff. They are really affable and helpful and remember all the small details, like when you have food preferences (wife could not eat raw food), when your last day - and these were servers at the meal times.. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend for a place to just relax and chill"

"Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Room is ordinary but it's generally clean and tidy. Breakfast is very nice with lots of food variety and much local produces are included. One down side of hotel is that it doesn't have under cover and secure parking with only limited numbers of street spaces available."
