"Air conditioner was very noisy. Windows had no black out curtains and lights outside were too bright. We didn’t sleep well because of those things. The breakfast needs to be upgraded as we had only scrambled egg without bacon or sausage. Overall we give this hotel 4 stars."

"This is an amazing little hotel! You can tell real pride goes into running this business. The check-in process is seamless; just wait for your email with the door code, and your keys will be in a key lock. The rooms are incredible—so spacious, with a comfortable sofa and a humongous bed featuring super soft linen and a really comfortable mattress. There is a lovely electric fireplace on the wall that gives off a beautiful flame effect and heat if you need it. The huge drinks fridge was stocked with a few cans of soda and some bags of crisps, which was such a nice touch. There are loads of plug sockets with built-in USB slots, a huge desk with a chair, a built-in drinks cooler, and air conditioning. The room also features a large mirror, a place to hang clothes, and a large smart TV with all the apps available to log into, plus super speedy internet. The bathroom is lovely and spacious, with a huge rainfall shower, luxury shower products, heated floors, and loads of towels and face cloths. Honestly, this is one of the best little hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the patio outside was great for catching the afternoon sun and taking in the mountain views. It also has a 12:00 PM check-out time, which in hindsight we should have made use of, as it’s a great space to relax. Located right next to a bakery that does awesome breakfast, sandwiches, and other baked goodies. If you're considering staying here, don’t have any doubts—just do it ."

"Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, enjoyed time in the whirlpool, with ample and close parking. The Kicking Horse River and River Walk was right beside the Motel with easy walking (very close by) to Pedestrian bridge, Spirit Square with a Farmer's Market, shopping, breweries and restaurants. Town is clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again :-)"

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
