"My son and I were in the room for the second day sick with food poisoning.. the staff here gave someone a keycard to our room and someone opened the door, seen us, apologized and then overheard the staff member say that there wasn’t anyone in that room. And the person insisted and said that they should be apologizing to us… ya that never came lol weird experience is all. Day staff and evening staff should definitely communicate and coordinate better. "

"The hotel room is nice and the property has all the amenities like pool, Gym etc. if they provide the breakfast that would have better and do not need to rush to restaurants for morning breakfast. And also, please keep at least 4 bath towels in the bathroom when the party size is four. In those two days we stayed we (family of four) had to go to front desk for the extra towels."

"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."
