"For the rate that this hotel charge (walk in rate was RM800) the hotel could do better in the following areas: 1. Wifi connection kept cutting off 2. Limited TV channel options. Poor TV resolution 3. Algae in the perimeter drain of the lap pool 4. Leaking plumbing fixtures in bathtub and at the valve to the toilet 5. Not up to 5 star hotel cleanliness 6. Air conditioner was out at their Strikers Bowl but luckily the first game (the only game we played was complimentary). Had to switch to different lanes several times because of malfunctions. Pros: 1. Staff was excellent and courteous 2. Breakfast options were excellent 3. Experience at Mandara Spa was excellent "

"This is not a hotel. Its a collection of motel style rooms for which you need a code to get into a mail box where you might find a room key. But first you have to find the place. Location as shown on hotels.com is jsut plain wrong and misleading. The local people have never heard of Rail Suite Aeropod. Even the security guy in the building had no idea. They may know it as Cactus Rail Suites. You must make contact with the provider who will send you the code to your mail box. And when you finally make it to the room expect only the most basic of stuff, of which there is none. Wait, they do provide shampoo. For all else, hold no expectations. Oh, its said to be close to the airport. It aint. Good luck to any others who venture there for the first time."

"It was okay. Staff were professional but seems as if they're in mourning whenever I appeared. Conversations just stopped, etc. It's the hospitality industry. You might have to talk with people who don't look like you. Sorry. Rooms were fairly clean. The thing about the tourist tax and deposit was annoying. They only accept cash but there's no ATM in the lobby. I already paid online but I have to make a cash deposit and such. I asked for another towel because I had to use one for the floor and the other had fallen. They charged me 10 ringgit cash and did not return it upon check out. Why am I being charged for a towel that I am not going to keep?Modern aesthetic but it's pretty scuffed up. Carpeted corners have plenty of dust. Pool was running and seemed clean. Café/Restaurant was clean. Food was fresh and reasonably priced. It an okay hotel."
