"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local...

"What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! "Old, worn, and repairs look haphazard."

"I arrived at 4pm for checking, I was told they can't find my reservation... after 20 min i was told they did find it but that someone else checked in at 1pm(what he hell??)... then after 20 min i was told they knock in my room and nobody answer (no idea why??, i had my reservation and ID in hand) after 45 min. i contacted expedia and they were able to fix the problem, i was given my room 1 hour late however, missing towels AC not working... i wont recommend anybody to stay here"

The staff was exceptional, from the front desk to the bar, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a great variety of food and drinks. "The property was conveniently located and surrounded by retail stores and dinner options. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However the room was disappointing. The kitchen and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, not all electric outlets were working and the hair dryer was also not working…luckily I brought my own. Lack of attention to detailed cleaning as we found cobwebs near the air conditioner and under the lamp shades."

"Alexandra and Anthonie were both super nice and friendly. When we arrived, they gave us a rundown of nearby restaurants to go and have dinner. Then showed us to our room and amenities. Room and bathroom were clean and comfy, wifi was fast there were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The area around the Inn is very cute, my girlfriend and i went for a walk in the nearby park in the morning and visited the Inn bookstore (we ended up buying 5 books lol). My only complaint is since our window...
