"This was a beautiful little hotel in the cute little community of Clayton. The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. It's very clean and well decorated with art from local artists, some of which is for sale. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. "

Breakfast delivered to our door in the morning was healthy and delicious. Pool was clean and relaxing. The room was immaculate. We will definitely be planning a fall trip. Thank you so much. Places like this don’t exist anymore. We travel a lot. This place is truly a gem."

"What a beautiful little spot in the world!!! This little spot is surrounded by nature. Seed Lake, Lake Burton, and Lake Rabun are all within a few minutes of this lodge. There's great little mom and pop restaurants in the area. My favorite is Glenn Ella. There's an abundance of waterfalls within a short drive. Minihaha, my favorite waterfall, with a short walk and accessible water, is right by this lodge. The room was super cute and uniquely decorated. The ambiance is calm. Ive already.made...

"Always look forward to my stay, away from the busyness of Atlanta. Yes, the property is under renovation… however, the restaurant, bar, lobby are absolutely beautiful. They have done an amazing job. Accommodations were comfortable, cozy with a rocking chair in the porch overlooking a meadow, mountain in the background and silence. I come for the silence, peaceful beauty and amazing staff."

"Check in staff was friendly. Assigned room was musty because of a large water stain in ceiling. Moved to a second room which was better. Good clean beds and bathroom. stained or rotten floor trims. Small flies in bedroom and bathroom. Sink inside the room by the bed, not inside the bathroom. Definitely rooms need repair and update. Would only stay in an emergency."

"I had knee replacement surgery 5 weeks ago. The lovely gal who runs the hotel during the day unilaterally offered to help me get my luggage to the room on the second floor. She is an outstanding asset to the property Znd it’s owners!"

"Really nice cheap hotel. Clean, comfortable, well maintained. There is a wheelchair ramp if you have mobility issues. There's a little fenced back yard on the creek with picnic tables and a grill- good area to let your dog out. It's minutes from stores/restaurants and close to local parks, downtown, and attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"We stay here every year for our annual waterfall visiting trip. The previous three years, they had a hot breakfast. But this year it’s just cereal, waffles, bagels or toast, and yogurt. Just wish they’d add muffins, fresh fruit like apples or oranges, and cold boiled eggs, if they are minimizing. Bed was comfy as usual, and their inside pool is the best! Customer service was wonderful. Will return next year."

"I enjoyed my stay. Front desk was nice and friendly.The location was perfect. Ingles and BP were right beside Days Inn. We walked around the corner to the most amazing Mexican restaurant,La Pachanga.The food was delicious and it came out quickly as well. Service was excellent. Our room was #115 on the first floor. The A.C.,fridge and microwave worked great and we didn't have any issues. The only complaint was the overhead noise from the room above and beside us but that is bound to be expected....
