Our 4-night stay at Soraniwa was absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. Our room was as beautiful as it was comfortable, and the fit and finish of the room was remarkable. Loved the sheets and pillows, the silk pajamas they provided and all the extra amenities. Our room had a private onsen, and the onsite onsen was pure luxury. The hotel is located near everything you need for entertainment and dining. Our stay was one of my favorites ever, and we travel often. I would not hesitate to stay at Soraniwa again.

The hotel is beautiful close to train station. The rooms were so spacious and the beds were pretty comfortable. One huge disappointment was the lack of laundry facilities as the Expedia website indicated. We had arrived from Shibuya and had planned to do laundry at Monterey Kyoto Hotel but this not possible. My husband and I had to walk 6-8 blocks int he pouring rain to do laundry at a coin laundry. That was a burden to me and my family as we had no clean clothes for the rest of our trip!
