"No Air Conditioning on a summer night. Who wants to stay in such a hotel. It doesn't say anywhere that the hotel doesn't have A/C. You expect A/C. It's like expecting hot water on the shower. But it's true, no A/C, just a ceiling fan recirculating hot air all night. The wifi was also terrible, on and off continuously. Stay at Hotel Infantado for a better sleep in the summer."

"This is a genuine treasure. Set back a little behind the main road, it is a haven of peace and charm. There is a wonderful seating area both inside and out, Tea and coffee are available throughout the day should you need it. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains, the place is beautifully decorated and designed. It is well placed for visits to the surrounding area which is stunning. Our advice would be to try both restaurants on the main road for the evening meal as they offer different...

"We stayed here one night before starting a 3-day trek in Picos de Europa. The hotel was charming, clean and comfortable, the staff was really helpful, and there was free parking across the street where we were able to leave our car during our trek. Las Arenas is a cute mountain town, and everything was easily walkable, including an excellent restaurant across the street, and a bus we took to Sotres for the start of our hike."
