"Extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night. Rundown suites, taps and bathrooms in need of work to be even ok. During our 10 night stay had leaks onto sink counter area from above suite, all our stuff on the counter got wet and soggy. No real concern about it when reported to front desk. The next morning had liters and liters of water pouring through bathroom ceiling heat lamp area and again reported to front desk and only somewhat concerned, they fixed the upstairs suite from us and cleaned up ours but had hours of no use of our washroom. Didn't have anywhere to move us as in another suite and never offered us a discount for the inconvenience. You get exactly what you pay for. Parking is a bit sketch as to not enough for a full house, you need to park a block away otherwise. Will not return here for are stay next time we visit Dartmouth."

"Four of us stayed here for a couple of nights and it was perfect. Granted the rooms are a little dated but everything was clean, everything worked and the beds were comfortable. They also provided breakfast which was plentiful. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were all very courteous and friendly. Great location also."

"Got a free upgrade to our room which was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Parking spaces in front of the building could use to be wider due to the fact that more people are driving full size trucks which makes parking tighter and subjects people to door bumps. Staff were awesome and the breakfast was good. Thanks."

"This hotel is pretty dated. The lobby looks mildly upgraded in the last 10 years, but from the elevators to the rooms and the guest floors, it all looks like original decor and is probably 40+ years old. My bedsheets felt stiff and not terribly comfortable. The lighting in the room was cold, and the air conditioner unit had a humming sound whenever it was not running. I had to turn the unit completely off to make the humming stop. The lobby restaurant, on the other hand, was obviously much more recently updated and was excellent. Location is excellent, but I wouldn't want to stay more than 1-2 nights here."

"It is an affordable option for a hotel near the Halifax airport. We stayed at the front end and back end of our trip - our rooms were very dated but clean, very basic, which did suit our needs. Front desk staff were somewhat abrupt - not rude - but very specific about the rules of the hotel - not very welcoming. The free breakfast ends exactly at 10am - no exceptions - and what is provided is minimal and not exciting whatsoever. Parking is plentiful."
