"A lovely, peaceful hideaway near Jaco. The breakfast buffet was delicious and it was dreamy swimming amid the forest canopy. The staff were friendly and helpful providing us with bikes & information about local buses, etc. The only issue we had was being locked out after the front desk closed at 9:30 pm."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"This was an excellent place to stay and the breakfast was amazing. Just be aware our room was right next to the road so there was a bit of traffic noise. Also, the only lock is the keypad. There is no secondary swing lock inside of the room to keep someone from entering. Otherwise it is a very beautiful boutique hotel."

"Everyone was so helpful. They let us write to the place we were staying. It was a little difficult to find the office when you see the physical sign walk up the path and you’ll see it right there. It was noted. We just didn’t know what we were looking for, but a sweet gentleman came out and found us and let us where we needed to be. Breakfast was very good as was the coffee. "Room was very nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from downtown strip with restaurants and bars and beach access. Only thing I’d have to complain about is , I did not expect to be so much traffic in front of the hotel. Even late at night, you hear loud motorcycles almost all night passing by."

"My wife and I loved Clarita’s. The property is prestine and newly remodeled. The downstairs cafe/bar and sushi restaurant were excellent. The ocean views and sunsets were incredible either on the beach or the rooftop deck. It was truly a magical experience. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and super clean and the toilets! Japan style they were honestly a game changer. "Can’t beet the free breakfast, the rooms are very spacious I travel with wife and two kids and having three beds was great. The pool was good to cool down. Overall is great for the price. The beach is a minute walk the waves are very high but we drove to near by beaches which are more calm to swim. Mantas beach, Herradura beach and Playa Blanca. The only negative I see is there is no pool towels you will have to pay."

"Tropical Garden is truly amazing to stay, the rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the access to the pool is just amazing, the beach is just a couple of minutes walk, the beach side restaurant is a treat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Truly accessible and very convenient location surrounded by greenery. The most important thing is that it is also budget friendly. Highly recommended to friends and families."
