"If I could give the Inn on the Avenue more than 5 stars, I would give it a 10. Carol was a fantastic hostess and went well above and beyond our expectations. The description on Hotels.com doesn't do it justice. The recommendations for local restaurants, every themed room meticulously designed and the breakfast in the morning making this a 10 star B&B. "This house is brimming with style and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this luxurious and historical home. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was amazing both mornings. They catered to my food allergies, and were eager to accommodate. Our room "The Henry" was spacious and the bed was SO comfortable that I did not want to wake up! "This was one of our best stays anywhere in the US. The owners have put a lot of love and care in every room ( which has a personality of its own). The owners cooked Breakfast for us that was delicious and also respectful of our dietary preferences. They have plenty of towels available. And in case the above did not convey it, it blows the experience in any other hotel (e.g. Marriott) out of the water. "

"I took a chance staying at a new place after staying in one hotel for the last 25+ years. I'm so glad I did! The Ambros was everything I was looking for and more. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a two queen bed room with a mini fridge and microwave. The room also included a coffeemaker, a steamer in lieu of an iron, and a hair dryer. "Great accommodations. Was a little inconvenienced by refrigerator dying. It was replaced fairly quickly. Just had to take the time to take food out and put back in when we could have been at the pool. Was looking forward to new hot tub but it was not hot. Overall though it has been my favorite hotel in Daytona. "
