"If you are traveling for business this is not the place. Rooms are massive, but old and dilapidated. I had a strong drain smell also in the bathroom. Late check-in and early departures for business is a disaster. No after hours room service, despite saying so on the website. No gym. No early coffee/breakfast. Avoid. "

"Marelyn and Ron were wonderful hosts. The reason for my visit was to attend a friend's funeral and they were so kind and thoughtful, that it made a difficult time just a little easier. "A Hideaway in Joburg. Anna, die rechte Hand der Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Schöner Garten mit kleinem Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat und English Breakfast. Wir hätten uns eine Selfservice Bar gewünscht in der die Möglichkeit im Haus Getränke zu erwerben, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu fuß zu weit ist und es dort auch nicht üblich ist, zu Fuß zu gehen, obwohl es eine wohlhabende Gegend ist."

"Firstly, the address advertised as well as the photographs of the accomodation are and is not the address of the actual "hostel. " There is no transportation to the actual address on Jan Smuts rd where you find out that you will be staying UPON ARRIVAL.. The cleanliness of the rooms are at best disgusting. No toilet paper is the tip of the iceberg. There are naked woman walking the halls with numerous "visitors" coming in and out. The owner\manager is impossible to get hold of. Disgraceful....
